Itinerary
Overview: Starting in Hoi An, we will pay a visit to the My Son Sanctuary, tour the area’s iconic Ancient Town, visit the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and some typical 18th-century Vietnamese merchant houses. Depart for Hue City where you will visit the Marble Mountains, experience one of the country’s most beautiful strips of highway, the Hai Van Pass with spectacular views of Da Nang, the East Sea and Lang Co’s virgin beaches. Take a boat trip down the beautiful Perfume River and visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. Then explore the elaborate mausoleums and monuments of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and stroll around Ding Ba Market.
Day 1:
Da Nang Arrival – Transfer to Hoi An
Upon arrival at Danang International Airport, you will be welcome by a Vietnam To Travel staff member and transferred (in a private car) to Hoi An for your hotel check-in.

Day 2:
My Son and Hoi An Tour (B,L)
After breakfast in Hoi An, you will pay a visit to the My Son Sanctuary: a UNESCO World Heritage site located 40 km southwest of Hoi An Situated amidst a lush, green valley, My Son was once the capital and religious centre of the Cham peoples. 7-13th century red brick temples, towering monuments and ancient sanctuaries fill this historic site, which is viewed alongside Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, Thailand’s Ayutthaya, Indonesia’s Borobudur and Myanmar’s Bagan; simply one of Vietnam’s must visit destinations!
You will return to Hoi An in the afternoon, where you will have the opportunity to tour the area’s iconic Ancient Town. The visit will include the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and some typical 18th century Vietnamese merchant houses. Top off the day with some shopping or just relax along the banks of Hoi An’s Thu Bon River.

Day 3:
Hoi An Free day (B)
Day 3 is open for you to explore Hoi An’s Old Town or to relax on its beaches.

Day 4:
Hoi An – Afternoon transfer to Hue City (B)
You are free to relax on the beaches or shop in town during the final morning in Hoi An. In the afternoon, we will depart for Hue City. Along the drive, you will visit the Marble Mountains, which are a collection of five rock outcrops that jut out along the coastal road.
Each mountain is said to represent a natural element and is named accordingly – Wood, Fire, Gold, Earth and Water. Water is the largest mountain, filled with caves and grottos open to visitors.
Further along you will experience one of the country’s most beautiful strips of highway, the Hai Van Pass, with spectacular views of Da Nang, the East Sea and Lang Co’s virgin beaches – some of the best in Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hue City you check-in to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 5:
Hue City Tour (B, L)
You will start your tour of this former Imperial Capital by taking a boat trip down the beautiful Perfume River. The Imperial Captial was ruled by the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802-1945. Here you will encounter the city’s best-known religious site, the Thien Mu Pagoda.
After soaking in the scenery and attractions, you will have a local lunch at one of our favourite restaurants in Hue.
The afternoon will be spent exploring the elaborate mausoleums and monuments of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh.
Before heading back to your hotel, you will have the chance to stroll around Ding Ba Market, to shop for some great local souvenirs.

Day 6:
Hue Departure (B)
You are free to explore Hue City until our driver picks you up and transfers you to Hue airport for your pre-arranged flight.
